ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT in Lego form.
Via Flavorwire:
While Arrested Development may have only lasted for three seasons, the cult comedy remains one of the most beloved TV shows of all-time — at least on the Internet. That’s why we know without even asking that you’ll be thrilled by the work of Matt De Lanoy, an intrepid designer who lovingly recreated the sitcom’s most iconic set pieces and characters out of Legos for Brickworld 2011 in Chicago. His take on the Bluth’s universe is incredibly detailed — the stair car makes an appearance, Gob rides his Segway with Franklin, and a sour-looking Lucille clutches a very tiny Lego glass protectively.

I was in a public bathroom the other night and someone had scrawled on the wall ‘Aussies are losers’ or some shit. This begs the question, what the fuck are you if you’re living in this country and you’re NOT an Australian? If you’re so proud of your heritage that you want to deny your culture is a part of Australia’s multicultural identity you can fuck right off to whatever nation you think is so much better than this one, instead of drawing a line in the sand HERE where we’ve mostly welcomed your way of life with open arms and you have it so much fucking easier than the shithole you came from. All we really ask is that you speak English in most circumstances so we can all understand each other.
When commercial CD singles were introduced to the music market in the mid 80’s, they found a warm welcome among fans and collectors. Bonus and non-album tracks, special versions and mixes - exclusively available on CD singles - made singles desirable and collectible. In contrast to the majority of albums, singles always get deleted (= they are no longer manufactured) within a short period of time after their release or occasionally withdrawn to push album sales. Nowadays, many singles are hard to find and sought-after items, especially in satisfying condition. Prices earned often exceed those of albums. Whereas maxi CD single sales soon became an important factor in the music industry in Europe (particularly Germany & UK) and Japan, the format never attracted notable interest in the US.
Due to the recent struggling music market that is causing massive changes in the music industry and to single charts, the format’s future remains in doubt. CD single sales are on an enormous downfall, record companies gradually turn their back on maxi editions, replace them with / or add 2-tracks, release only limited quantities or don’t even bother with releases anymore. Media chains and music stores reduce their supply, eventually increase their prices. It’s getting harder and harder to get hold of CD singles. The end of this physical format seems to be inevitable. - Update 2010 - the maxi CD single market basically is dead, mostly 2-track singles are issued.
